Classroom behaviour management and technology

Banning mobile phone and other digital devices may be a great idea when trying to eliminate distraction from learning. In addition, students may be tempted to cheat during tests. Without technologies in classroom, at least there’s a higher chance of students being attentive in class. With that said, technology can be a great learning tool in the right environment. Students are able to collaborate and learn from each other. For example, with the BYOD program in schools, it offers students the platform to become active participants in learning both inside and outside classrooms (Ackerman & Krupp, 2012).
